Dentures at Dento Smile

For decades, dentures have provided a straightforward and affordable solution for replacing missing teeth. Modern denture designs are now more comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing than ever before. Each of our custom dentures is carefully fitted to ensure optimal results that suit our patients’ lifestyles.

What Are Dentures?

A denture is a removable and cost-effective dental prosthesis that replaces all of your missing teeth at once. It rests directly on your gums, creating suction between the appliance and your soft tissues. Partial dentures, on the other hand, are designed to clasp around healthy existing teeth to secure the appliance in place.

Dentures are available in various designs and materials, each customized for optimal aesthetics and affordability.

For those who prefer it, we can design dentures that attach onto dental implants. Implant-supported overdentures are particularly beneficial for individuals with narrow bone structure or who may have difficulty achieving a secure, comfortable fit throughout the day.

Should You Get Dentures?

Choosing to get dentures is a personal decision, as it may involve extracting any remaining teeth. We will discuss all available restorative options with you so that you can make the best choice for your situation. You may be a candidate for a full or partial denture if you have concerns such as:

Caring for Your Dentures

Removable partial and full dentures should be removed every night to maintain the health of gum and bone tissues. Soak your appliance in an effervescent cleanser to loosen any buildup that accumulated throughout the day. Clean your mouth with a soft, damp washcloth before bedtime. In the morning, clean your mouth again, then brush and rinse your denture thoroughly before putting it back on.

Need a Repair?

If your dentures are broken or loose, it can affect not only.
your ability to eat but also your gum and bone health.
If your denture isn’t fitting properly please bring it to
our practice so we can evaluate and address the issue.

Since dentures may require occasional adjustments, repairs, and relines, we recommend scheduling a checkup with our dentists every six months.
